You might have already lost a draft pick (or two)
As the PGB season starts to enter the closing stretch, please take a few moments keep a watchful eye on usage, as numerous violations have been reported. This is the time of year when many regular and semi-regular roster fixtures begin to expire, and as always, The Office of the Commissioner does NOT want to be called upon for rule enforcement. In fairness to all managers, especially those embroiled in the playoff race, please de-activate expired players promptly. Remember that the library is available to help coax your team through shortages if needed.
As outlined in the 2024 winter meetings, here is the template for violators:
-
0-110%: No penalty
-
111-112%: 7th rounder
-
113-117%: 6th rounder
-
118-125%: 5th rounder
-
126-130%: 4th rounder, plus loss of postseason eligibility
-
131-140%: 3rd rounder, plus loss of postseason eligibility
-
141-150%: 2nd rounder, plus loss of postseason eligibility
- 151%+: permanent immediate loss of player; returned to draft pool if eligible.
Important to consider: mid-game overuse is no longer permitted, so as a best practice, managers should de-activate players prior to reaching a potential penalty threshold. In case a forfeited pick has been traded, penalty will be moved by one round. Immediately after the season, a period of self-reporting must be submitted. After reports are submitted, penalties (if any) will be announced. In case of multiple violations from the same team, penalties will be considered on case-by-case basis.
