BRANSON

BALDKNOBBERS

ABOUT SWEN:

Earliest Baseball Memory: Going to the Metropolitan Stadium with my dad and brothers to watch the Twins.

Cherished Autograph or Photo Opp: If you are from the Twin Cities you might be familiar with the radio show, Garage Logic, with Joe Soucheray. One his shows producers Matt (I forget his last name), was nicknamed “The Rookie” He spoke at a school function my son was at when he was in grade school. He scored an autographed picture for me that read, “To Jeff, good luck with Dan,” signed, “The Rookie”

Brushes with Fame: I was 20 people back and saw Tiger Woods At the U.S. Open at Hazeltine Golf Course in Minnesota.

Shirt Size: XL

Biggest Trade Regret: In the third or fourth year of PGB, prior to the draft, I was in desperate need of Starting pitching. I traded a third-round pick to Thunder Bay for a non-descript starter. He didn’t make my final 40-man roster that year.

Streaming TV Networks: None.

I’m Loyal to This Brand: Duluth Trading.

Favorite Vacation: A week at Glacier National Park in Montana with a good friend.

Best Uniform in All of Sports: I might be a homer, but the original jersey of the Minnesota Fighting Saints of the old WHA is my all-time fave. A close second is the Minnesota North Stars jersey.

Why I Love PGB: Dave and Russ.
