Poll

Thanks for participating in the poll!

In determining the general league-wide sentiment over the issues of player pool and tanking enforcement, there wasn’t really a super clear-cut mandate on anything except for continuing to add NL players in one form or another. Here are the raw data and summaries (note—only 16 surveys were received and not all fields were completed):

Draftpool Option #1: Continuing the NL Draft with no changes.
Summary: this was the most favored option by a slight margin, so we’ll continue for another season or two and re-evaluate.

Draftpool Option #2: Continuing NL Draft but on a 3-year cycle. (Drafting every three years, keep players, add to continuity.)

Summary: Marginal support, but also significant detractors.

Draftpool Option #3: Discontinue the NL Supplemental Draft.
Summary: an unpopular option; not to be spoken about again.

Draftpool Option #4: Return to adding in NL teams to regular draft. (Frequency TBD)

Summary: Has some support, but also a fair amount of opposition.

Anti-Tanking Option #1: Committee formed to watchdog for severe violations/provide warning to offenders.

Summary: A fairly popular choice; this committee will be formed before the season starts and will investigate all complaints. Let the Director know if you’d like to participate.

Anti-Tanking Option #2: Draft position determined using 2- or 3-year record instead of most recent season only.

Summary: Fairly divided, but can be re-visited if tanking issues permutate.
